I don't see anything for this and I'm dying for new information. Any news through the grapevines? I'm driving down from Ohio. I can't miss this, but if they ticket it, then I might be shit out of luck. Please post all future updates to this thread rather than the Hunahpu's Day thread. Thanks.

Dang - still nothing here? Just got done reading 12 pages of posts on last year's Peg's /Cycle Barrel Aged event and want to hit Pegs and Hunahpu's Day for the first time... Is there an alternate thread I couldn't find?

Cycle is notoriously terrible at keeping their customers informed. The only way you ever find out any bottle release/event information is through rumors. I live 2 miles away from them and I have no clue what they're planning, but rumors are a ticketed event at Pegs.

I have not heard anything other than small numbers of bottles each day of the week and then leftovers available on Friday.

On 2/13 I sent Peg's a reservation request for Friday 3/13 for lunch. Message back was, "This is now a ticketed event and Cycle Brewing will be posting details on their Facebook page and on Peg's Facebook page very soon. Watch for details."

Came from Peg, so would take it as confirmation that (1) something with Cycle is happening at Peg's that Friday and (2) it will be ticketed.

I wish I thought about doing that for info. Lol. How in the world are they going to do this? I'm all for pleasing locals, but this was the highlight of my trip last year. My butt will be hurt if ticket sales are limited to locals only and/or limited to 1pp. I guess I need to find a back up plan for Friday.

For those of you that don't Facebook, here's an update from Cycle's page.

Beer Week Update - Mostly about Friday the 13th

We have still not determined a few details but the larger questions can be answered now. The week is going to start on Monday the 9th, we will open at noon every day, there will be 3-ish barrel aged taps each day, no hold overs from the day before.
Friday we will have an event at Peg's, it will start at noon and you will need a ticket. This event will be capped at 250 people and tickets will be more or less a receipt and not required for entry, your name will be on the list and you will have to show ID, its that simple. Ticket price and the day they go on sale will be announced later; you will have a few days notice and the tickets will go on sale by the 6th of March.
The ticket will include the Friday bottle, unique to this event glassware and free pours of all of the barrel aged beers and regular taps. We will tap everything that went on during the week plus a few others we are guessing, the beers are not ready so there is no tap list and nothing guaranteed yet.
Regarding tickets for other people, we understand there are a lot of folks coming from out of town who can't show up a week early to buy a ticket. We will not be doing an online sale so there will be at least a 2 ticket limit, perhaps more, but if you are buying one for somebody else please have their full name and spelling handy so we can build an accurate list.
Lastly, Friday at Cycle will be just like Thursday, 3 different beers and if those run out, that is it. We are short on space downtown and if you are unable to make it to the Peg's event there is still something available however we are hoping it is a manageable crowd.
