Town Hall Barrel Aged Week 2015!

    You don't have to go the exact day of the release for that beer - but you can't pick up friday's beer on Monday. You could go saturday and pick up all of them.

    I'm pretty disappointed but these mason jar growlers. Anyone have experience letting stouts/barley wines sit in these for a couple months?

    I'm pretty disappointed with all the complaining about the new growlers. Pretty sure the folks at Town Hall deserve the benefit of the doubt. Personally I trust their judgement much more than that of random schmoes.

    So, today's the first day for this and it starts at 5, does that mean one should arrive at or even slightly before 5 in order to be guaranteed a glass or is this something that will be on for a little while (an evening or so)?

    If the last few years are any indicator (and who knows if they are anymore) you should have a few days minimum to get out there for a glass of any of the beers.

    I'm rolling the dice and likely not making my first visit until Wednesday. They will be offering 3 beer flights and 3 would be released by this point. If you want to be sure to try all, obviously go each day... but other than maybe Project 3106, and the new releases on Saturday, most should be available for a few days.

    that manhattan barrel is a hell of a beer. good thing there's no breathalyzer necessary to pick up your kids from daycare.

    I'm looking forward to my growler of Twisted Trace, which should show up on monday when a co-worker does his Town Hall run to grab his growlers, too.
