Other Half Brewing

I think cans should last at least the weekend. Hype or not, $16/4 pack is a hefty price and most of the people I've spoken to on this and other beer sites are only getting 2 or 3 four packs max, not entire cases.

 

Yeah I'm picking up a case just so I can hook up my friends that can't make it. I only want 2 4packs for myself.

 

im wondering if this is going to become a regular occurrence, or if they really are limited releases that they'll do once or twice a year. i stocked up on superfun but with a bigger IPA like GD i wouldn't want to sit on the cans for too long.

 

Going to be semi-regular, but they'll probably rotate what beers they actually can whenever they can get Ironheart in.

 

Sounds promising...do they do growler fills? If so, can you bring other brewery's growlers a la HF?

 

They do growler fills of most of their beers. They only fill wide-mouth twist-cap growlers (due to how their system is set up), so no belgian-style HF growlers with the flip-cap.

 

I would be flabberghasted if they sold out of GD cans in one weekend.

I will be there at noon on Friday as well, however. You know, just in case.

Falsa's hitting the stores...Covenhoven and Bread and Honey according to beermenus

 

Although their Facebook page just said Falsa is sold out...interesting. Also, its 200 cases available this weekend (per Facebook).

 

Hopefully this is the way it turns out, at 9% ABV this is not the kind of beer that requires a case a person. I will likely pick up a couple of 4 packs. Hopefully everyone who goes this weekend and wants some gets some. Hopefully hoarding mentality doesn't kick in.

 

Covenhoven also just tweeted that they now have Falsa Noctis bottles for sale, so it seems like Other Half just pulled what hadn't sold yet and distributed it.

edit: sorry, just saw your previous post about Covenhoven having it. But, this also seems to fit with what Other Half tweeted last week, "Come get these while they last! This weekend only then they are gone! Open tonight at 5pm!", like they always intended to just have it for the one weekend and then send whatever was left out.

 

Can anybody help a die hard GD fan from SoCal? I'm looking for 4 pack of GD. I will be in NYC the end of March for 5 days. I know all the GD cans will be long by then.

Anyone hear what the glassware/shirts are gonna cost?

 

Does anyone know the best place to park by Other Half? Planning on driving down on lunch from my job in Englewood Cliffs, NJ so mass transit isn't an option. Never been and was wondering if there was a car park there or had to find one close.
