Jubel 2010 wasn't tasting so great last time I had it, so it will be nice to get a fresh version again. I wonder if Deschutes will ever release a 100% barrel-aged beer?

Doesn't say on the link if it will be distributed or not. Hopefully it is, I would like to get my hands on some. Anyone know a Deschutes rep?

I generally prefer blended barrel aged beers. Best of both worlds IMO. Granted they aren't always better but they can be at least. I can see though why some might prefer BA beers 100% BA.

I thought they did this one every 10 years?

Yeah, they seem to be changing their schedules a lot lately with their bigger beers.

If you click the link they scratched out 2020 and remark they can't wait another 5 years. I can't wait either, I love this stuff

I had my last 2010 bottle over Thanksgiving and it was amazing. I can't wait to reload the cellar with a fresh release. Also one of my favorite reserve beers from these guys.

Well I picked one up in Northern Virginia, so I'd say yes.

We got some in Iowa on the release day, February 6th (I believe). I snagged 2 bottles and we supposedly only got 36 in the state. It was also on tap at a sports bar that always has 3-4 Deschutes handles and has done several takeovers.

Mulligan's in CF. Pretty sure Harry's has a keg stashed away as well.

I've seen well over 36 bottles randomly on shelves around Des Moines alone, so Iowa definitely got more than 36 bottles. Maybe 36 cases??
