yup! went pretty quick here in dublin yesterday. whole foods had 2 cases and it was gone quick. Andersons had a bit more, not sure if they have any left.

 

I've been wondering where this is. I wish they made it year round.

 

One of my favorite DIPAs, if not my favorite. The honey malt is the key here.

Speaking of lack of hype, I've seen virtually nothing on here about Juju. Still waiting to see some in my area, but it should be any day now...

 

I agree,it's the sweetest beer I've had and I absolutely love it. It's pretty much fruit punch.

Not sure about all this love for Chillwave......it is a decent DIPA, and I will likely pick up some, but Fatheads Hop Juju is my preference, or even Sixpoint Resin - available year round, and the Hi-Res blows Chillwave out of the water.....IMO

Actually prefer Lake Erie Monster myself, of these 2 GLBC seasonal releases

I do remember seeing that, now that you mention it. But to my point, that was one thread in the regional forum 2 days prior to release. I'm just surprised I didn't see anything in the beer release or general forums. Not bothered, just surprised at the relative lack of hype.

 

That's because the only things that gets hype is the stuff that is hard to get.

 

Hop Juju is not all that widely distributed, so not surprised not that many people know that much about it.....I posted my Hop Juju thread in the general Beer Talk forum, but it got moved to the Great Lakes one....there was quite a bit of chatter about the Juju release in the "New to Ohio" thread, for quite some time also.....

 

I live in MD and Great Lakes isn't even distributed here, but I've been able to get LEM and Chillwave before by random accident in VA or PA so its easy to get. Chillwave is one of my favorite DIPAs out there and LEM wasn't too very far behind either.

 

So you would rather have a shit beer that has a cool name?
