I haven't seen any ISO or FT for this beer. I grabbed some when I was at the brewery and was looking for anybody ISO so I could share this wonderful beer. Is the ISO market there, or because this is new to bottles people are not sure they can trade for it? Or is it something that nobody really cares about?

I'd love to try it! If you don't mind, send me a message with anything you are interested in from the midwest.

    Thanks,
    Mike

The ISO market is surely there. There have already been a couple of threads. I know a guy that I trade with in Minnesota who would love some of this. A majority of people are probably unaware that it was recently bottled.

This beer is on par in quality with Zombie Dust (at least when I've had it from draft or growler). You can easily trade for some comparable shelf or seasonal/limited release beers.

What was the cost? Also was it a one time bottling with low bottle count?

Ah, I found the thread my lazy ass could have looked up earlier... $5 and distributed to some accounts.

You should absolutely be able to trade this for other beers you are interested in... I'd definitely send some limited Terrapin, Sweetwater, Yazoo, etc for this!

For the record, very few. I know of two places outside of RR that got it. I'm sure there are more, but it's not many.

It's funny, if this beer were barrel-aged BA would be thrown into absolute chaos, and yet it's better than 9/10 BA beers I've ever had. Oh well, at least it'll be easy to come by for the guys who do want it.

I was just about to say, "NEVERMIND". People are already loading the coal into the engine....

Yeah that's clearly what I meant. Also, I'm definitely trading it, not drinking whatever I buy.

Really not sure why I'd want to hype this beer. I want it to stay at RR forever so I can drink it. Hype defeats that...

For the record, I was just trying to clarify that if you want it you'll probably need to get it from RR. I don't think anyone should trade anything rare for it, or go over $4$, or anything like that.

Do you happen to have bottle count info then? Or any additional information? Enlighten me, so my whimsical offer of regionally limited beers can be amended to further fuel the RR hype engine...

Not trying to be a dick, but you seem to be alluding to a higher value placed on this beer

Edit- ok, I see your explanation to the comment above. Takes me awhile to type on my phone... Fair enough

See reply above, I'm really not. Gazing into my BA trading crystal ball I see Row 2 going for locals.

I bought 2 more than I wanted to trade, maybe as extras, maybe for locals. I wasn't expecting anything huge in return, but was gauging intrest if I should put up a FT Row 2/Hill 56 or throw it on the back of a For Trade PtE. Ect. Thanks for the help guys.

It's an IPA. I can't put it in my cellar and stare at it for a year before drinking it.

I had this from a growler a few months back. It's really good. A previous brewing may have something to do with the lack of a mad rush.

BA has certainly never flipped out for IPAs before.

I don't recall seeing any ISOs then either. I'm not complaining about the lack of demand (as I said before that benefits me more than crazy demand), but I don't think this beer is any less enjoyable than, say, Citra, and that release is a shitshow now. Trading culture is funny.

I agree. Citra hops have a hype train all on their own. Sometimes I can't even get any to brew with.

I think the train hasn't built steam... Simcoe pale soulds interesting to me. Others might think different.

I posted an ISO, just made mistake of not listing it in the title. Obviously lessening my chances.

I was at the brewery yesterday asking about Row 2. I was given the impression that bottles should be around until I make it back home next week, so I only picked up a couple. Places like Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa had a 2 bottle limit last week, 4 dollars a bottle. It's 5 at the brewery.

I think that the next bottling will be next year from the information I got yesterday.

So it won't last until I get out there July 27, eh? Too bad.
