The only thing I'd be wondering about is where would they find enough cherries? Between the early thaw this year and the drought, too, my understanding is that Midwestern fruit growers have been hit bard. Considering the obscene amount of fruit Goose tends to use, would they be able to get enough cherries to make a decent-sized (relatively speaking) batch?

Also, agreed on the Mexican Hot Chocolate -- and no need to depend on Mother Nature/farmers for fruit!

Or something sweet and spicy like horchata with ghost peppers or habanero and citrus

So what you're saying is you want them to ramp up production 38 fold. Somehow, I think we're more likely to see a wasabi variant.

Is malort like absinthe? I looked it up and saw it was made with worm wood, just curious, never heard of it.

Bourbon County Lime. The same great taste you know and love, now with a refreshing blast of lime flavor. Just in time for summer!

    Brandy barrels.

They did this once for a festival and a left over keg got tapped on a night with every BCBS varient except Rare. It was the clear winner. I think there are a. Couple reviews on BA.

Agreed. I think the cherry version would rock in bottles.

    Peanut butter version?

    Lactose version sounds good too.

It shares with Absinthe the tendency to make it's drinkers blind or hallucinatory.

Flavor wise, it's apples and oranges. Well, apples and rotten, cheap, shitty oranges. I would recommend avoiding Malort.

On topic: the Napa version was delicious, but wouldn't have a wide appeal. I would dig a rye barrel version with no fruit.

You are correct that the Michigan cherry harvest is very small this year but they were able to get enough (5,000 lbs) to make a new batch of Madame Rose this year so maybe it won't be an issue....
