Sorry to @nathanmiller, but I find untapped to be one of the worst sites to go just for information. It is great for logging ticks and being a social network king, but as far as any real information about styles, or even how good a beer is, it is pretty poor. Haven't had this beer, probably won't cause I don't care, just take opinions on untapped with a big grain of salt.

 

Depends on who you follow/drink beers with. Random people...eh. I trust a lot of my friends on Untappd, especially after having numerous beers/bottle shares with them. You all know who you are.

 

So, no thumbs up???

 

Yeah it's not my best work. I'd give it a 4/10.

But I think I get my point across.

 

I had it on tap at the brewery during the anniversary party and it was fine. I don't know about the taste from the bottled version. Is it really that bad?

Sadly, I am not surprised that they screwed the pooch on this one

 

Draught it was great at Xmas in July but yesterday it was bad out of the bottle. I especially like the Untappd comments of its just a little tart but it's still good and then rate it a 4.5. It's unfortunate that the beer isn't good but it happens.

 

If you stand in line or search all over then pay $16+ it is really hard to give a bad rating if the beer stinks. It's kind of an admission that you got suckered.

I'm sure BB will learn from this and get it right next time.

Any truth to this being a Ranger Creek collaboration?

 

My bottle was terrible! It was like a Gingerbread Stout with funky milk. Drain poured 20 of 22 oz. I rarely ever drain pour anything.

 

I agree with this. People don't want to admit they got a bad bottle. I do find it rather funny that the majority of people on Untappd rated this 4 or higher AND commented how "tart" it is, and how it was probably not meant to be this tart, but they like it anyway.

I think it would be interesting if the brewery stepped up and commented on what this beer was supposed to taste like and what it actually turned out to be.

 

For anyone that rates this as a 4 or higher, I gotta ask.....why????
