They should also post a list of the beers that will run out before they let the general public in.

    Cantillon Cuvee des Champions anyone?

bottle list....Cantillon... yeah that line won't be crazy. Hopefully they don't separate the beers alphabetically as Cascade will not be helping spread out the line. I know Dr.Bill was upset they did that previously, after he told them how to break it up before hand.

Cascade looks like they are bringing a lot of awesome beer. Wish i could make it, you all behave yourselves.

Now that there are so many great craft beer bars around the country that want to serve sour beers, putting on a festival like Sour Fest is tough. Gone are the days when I could get 3 cases of a rare sour for a festival, even with hoarding the beers I recieve throughout the year. When I get a six pack of Lou Pepe Kriek do I share it with hardcore fans at Sour Fest where 50 people out of 800 will get to try it or just put it on the list at the Bistro where only a dozen people will get to enjoy it and avoid all the next day complaints? For the last 3 decades I've been known as the guy who always wanted to share my beers with as many people as possible, whether at festivals I attended, my tastings, or just over at my house. Now just because I've got this great job at Stone, I'm not going to change that. So if you miss out on something on Sunday, I'm sorry, but be aware there are a number of rare beers that are six packs and won't last for long. I know that alot of you who get upset about his kind of thing are also savvy enough beer aficionados to figure out which beers won't last, so plan accordingly. See you all on Sunday!
    Cheers, Bill

I know man, just busting some balls, super appreciative of what you do.

Although, I still have to wonder: why put the beer on the list if its gonna be gone 15 minutes before tickets are even taken? Its one thing for it to run out before everyone gets a pour, and then another to run out before ANYONE with a ticket gets a pour. . .

All Beers will be available at 10am no early access this year. So get thee to the front of the line and have your pick of the rarities. With 117 beers on the list there should be enough beers to keep even the most decadent sour puss happy. I know there are at least 25 beers I would be excited to taste either again or for the first time.
    Cheers

Instead of explaining what a live keg is, swing by the Cascade section and talk to my buddy Preston who is their blender and get it from the horses mouth. I will also have Jim Crook barrel master for Firestone and Adam Avery roaming the grounds on Sunday.

I feel Dr. Bill has put a fantastic list together. Excellent job! The FW Sloambic itself is nearly worth the price of admission. Can hardly wait for those Cascades. Could I camp overnight in the garden?

Agreed on SLOambic. Was very disappointed this wasn't put on at the FW Invitational. That will be my first stop while the throngs infest the booth with six bottles of Cantillon. (After they wait in the line that will start to form at 5am.)
