If it makes you feel any better, the last time I went there to get growlers they weren't even open so I couldn't even have a pint.

our server last night was kind enough to remind us at 9:50 that all growlers had to be off premise by 10. otherwise this might have been me at 10:05 last night.

Very well could have been. I know what I tasted and that was it. Fucking sue me.
I didn't say you hyped it up. There were 2 people in the bar, @lonewolfcry being one of them, who were raving about this beer before I got to try it. Didn't share their opinion at all. And maybe you're right, maybe I didn't get the correct beer but whatever it was it tasted like chalky tobacco shit and I stand by that.

My only point was that you called the guy an idiot...yet you didn't have a problem drinking from his leftover pour.
And I'm not sure why you're so upset that you didn't like it - I mean, it was free...right?

All releases were still on tap as of 4:00 today. My wife and I both felt like the Buffalo Bock was the best of the bunch, but all six in our samplers were good to great. The Brown Label did have some tobacco notes, but definitely not "chalky chew spit".

Hats of to Town Hall. I was able to go down twice during the whole week and try everything. In my order of preference, Manhattan, Foolish Angel, Buffalo Bock, Czar Jack then who cares. All were good to great. The staff was friendly and courteous even with dealing with the mass chaos. I had a leaky growler that I noticed coming out so I returned it and they exchanged it no issues. Very well done BA week.

Maybe I shouldn't have called him an idiot ( I was pretty drunk when I posted that) but I'm not gonna turn down a free beer that was supposedly "amazing" whether the guy was an Idiot or not. I'm upset that the beer sucked but I'm ecstatic I didn't have to pay for that crap.

Exactly - very well run, even when they were extremely busy when I was back for seconds on Saturday.

Thanks for giving credit, where the credit was due.
I sometimes (too often) lose taking the time to do this.

Did anyone try the mini whisky pour accompaniments to any of the beers? Tried the Angel's Envy and Buffalo Trace - interesting twist on accentuating different flavors from the respective beers... Might have to try this at home.

As of yesterday afternoon, none had kicked, the Bartender also seemed to think they weren't going to kick soon, as they had a few back up kegs as well

Here right now, everything is still on including a little bit of Mango Mama. So far for me:

Manhattan>Brown Label>Foolish Angel>Czar Jack>Buffalo Bock then a big gap until the Duke of Wallonia (reminds me too much of Blue Moon).

Such an awesome lineup of beers.

I thought the Duke was an incredibly complex beer and a nice change of pace from all the dark BA beers.

I come from a small town that drinks a shit ton of Blue Moon, other than a touch more heat, I think people would have a tough time picking between the two. Hyperbole aside, I stand behind my opinion.....man.

I never said your opinion was wrong... man. I was just stating that I enjoyed it since no one seemed to post about that one.

And I honestly feel bad for anyone that can't tell the difference between the two beers. They probably smoke a ton of cigarettes and/or chew a lot of tobacco. Those are two causes that affect taste buds. Here is a little info on smoking and tastes buds for anybody's enjoyment:

    And one of chewing tobacco:
