I should do inventory on my collection one day. I am afraid of the reality check that would come with it

Yeah, I've got, well had about 600 bottles. My official list has 485 but that doesn't include the 40 beers I have in my fridge and the 60 in my on deck circle... Needless to say, I'll probably be bringing a lot with me to the Locals 1.0

Nah, no reality check if you get over-analytical about what you have and just neglect to include $ as one of the spreadsheet columns.....

My mind can probably skip over the 12oz/375ml bottles but a quantity of Bruery and Cascade beers? All I see is $$$

Glad someone can help you, I've given/traded away so much already.

That certainly makes me feel better. I just did inventory a couple weeks ago. 300 bottles of beer, 150 bottles of wine... Glad to see someone is 'worse' off than me

Pro tip for easy coconut infusion. @bevoduz

Melt coconut oil with coconut flakes, mix In half of your stout in a mason jar, shake well, then put in the fridge until the fat solidifies.

Then poke a hole in the fat, mix with other half.. Really nice coconut infusion

Process has worked well for me with bacon fat and bourbon as well

Yeah, I was starting to feel guilty about my 239... on the other hand, I think 239 will last me a LOT longer than 300 (or even 600) will last you and @Ncpogs

I mean, I only drank 12 this weekend. That's not bad right? Thankfully I had help on all of those.

I didn't want it to feel like I was bragging but a few of you have posted numbers so I'll share...

When I went through it a month ago I was at about 720+homebrew, and I've probably acquired a little more than I've drank/sent since then. I'm not honestly sure how long this'll take me to drink down, but I know I don't average a bottle/day in the downward direction...

Mine is all spread out around my house, or I'd be happy to. One day I'll have it somewhat organized and will photograph it. (I have roughly 10 cases in the ktichen, 5 in the dining room, 9 in the bedroom, 16 in garage fridges [yes, multiple])

Everyone once and awhile I'm able to prove myself somewhat useful.

And I'll work on cutting out the lurking, still getting the lay of the land.

    Super disorganized right now

Mostly sours and stouts, few barleys on the top shelf, lower shelf is pre box trading, boxes below need finished and sent. A couple cases of homebrew, and a couple shippers with my "whales"

@Tee2Grn has a box sitting lonely by the door, never had to wait so long to ship before

My wife sells books for Usborne, so I have a good supply of sturdy boxes.

Cellar pics??? Why not... even though mine pales in comparison to some of y'all....

Top shelf -- the only one really "organized"

Middle shelf -- lots of scattered singles at this point -- 120 min is a different year from the one on top shelf so I have them separated to keep the years straight in my head until I get @JasonR1975 approved labels

Bottom shelf -- bombers (they also fit on middle shelf but not top). Too many different beers to have them neatly organized with the limited space I have.

The mini (beer) fridge. Also fairly disorganized. Lots of nugget nectar, though it's no longer #lehighfresh, it's still drinking fine at a little over a month old (though none of that is going out in boxes -- if I include any in upcoming boxes, gonna look for fresher)

    That's it

I'm starting to feel better about myself. Only 4 cases of smalls and about 7 cases of bigs.

When I counted at 200+ I knew I would be drinking beer that was bad by the end of it all which is partly why I'm trying to give much away. I don't know how you, and many many others, keep such inventory on hand. It seems impossible to drink it all within a timeframe that would allow optimal taste.
