    What's the word on when and where in NC for this? Specifically Charlotte area.

    The Beer Release section has some discussion about CBX already having stock of it.

    Distributors are supposed to hold it until July 2nd. Cbx got it early cause their distributor didn't know any better. There is a funny picture though of Michael Bell in CBX threatening the guys with a crow bar while they hold bottles of it though.

    It's a good beer don't get me wrong, but it is pretty thin for a brown ale. The smell is terrific, but it's way too sweet IMO. If anyone misses on it, don't worry about it, as Founder's has put out better. Just one man's opinion of course.

    My regular store got one case, as did a couple of the Whole Foods in the area. 1 bottle limit most places I know about.

    I had it last night, it's a really solid beer with great flavor. There certainly isn't the hype around this one as the previous backstage releases, but I'd say that unless you hate hazelnut it's worth seeking out a bottle to try.

    crap, i don't know if i'll be able to get out and search for this today. Most CLT beer stores close early on Monday. :slight_frown:

    I'm getting my first glimpse of how much it sucks to live in South Florida. Ballast Point doesn't even make it down here.

    At least Cigar City trades pretty well, and the same for Funky Buddha if/when growlers or bottles are available.

    Devil Dancer in too. $20.99. One 4 pack limit.
