Hi everyone. I'm still waiting for a return fire from @anticipation23. I'm reluctant to post here because I know I'm about to get blasted for the handling of the situation on my end. But I feel I need to come clean and post.

I sent to @anticipation23 in early July. Some Oxbow bottles that were expensive and that I drove far to find. Plus some Heady and some extras. He was supposed to return fire with a mystery box; I left it up to him, like a 2-person BIF. He hasn't returned and stopped contacting me back in August. He stopped showing up here altogether right around then, too, which is why it seemed useless for me to post here. But now I see he popped his head in at the end of last month.

I've sent him BMs every month and I've left him multiple voice mail messages/texts on his cell. No response whatsoever.

We did not use the trade feedback system. He and I were both posting in two groups that I thought were really trustworthy, and this is clearly my bad. Again, I'm sure I'm going to get slammed for bringing this on myself.

If anyone knows him or has any thoughts on how I can get what's due, I'd really appreciate it. I don't care about the beer or money that much. Mostly I'd like to no longer feel like I was screwed. If that makes any sense.

    Thanks all.

Sounds like you are screwed. Do you know anyone who knows him? Does anyone here know him or know someone who knows him?

Don't blame yourself, at end of day he is the one screwing you. Not sure if he screwed anyone else, but this is why people on this forum advocate outing people as soon as reasonably possible.

@ColdOne No one hates a "deadbeat" more so than me, especially one from my own state. If there is something I can help out with please BM me. Also, I've got my hands full with a few trades and a BIF, so if you can wait (no pun intended), I'll do my best to give Wisconsin traders a good name.

    Cheers!

@ColdOne is as good of a guy as I've been lucky to meet twice now. @anticipation23 is/was in a group with us so I see how/why Mike didn't use the trade system. For fucks sake @anticipation23 just send the beer you said you would already.

I really appreciate your support. But shouldn't you be tossing back Tampa samplers right about now? Come on…

I got a Cream and Sugar Please Crowler to bring home but it was leaking so I'm taking it down tonight instead. 21 new ticks today

Not sure to be honest. A great guy was showing me around and he said one of the Crowlers he got leaked as well though. To be fair he recently sent me two of them and they didn't leak at all.

So, no word from @anticipation23. But at least we were able to get some agreement here about leaky crowlers in Tampa :astonished::astonished::astonished:.

@anticipation23 so you were on here @ 4:37pm today and still can't come in here to explain yourself?? Or fix this situation that you created. Wish the hammer would strike the table sooner rather than later.

@anticipation23- whats going on here man? You seemed like a good dude back when you were active. Just send Mike a damn box of beer and lets be done with this. It's not that hard. You owe him, and you need to make this right.

    @anticipation23 watch continues.

Honestly, I thought maybe he was dead. Now I'm glad he's alive but also pissed that he's walking around and not sending me a drop of barley juice.

I know it's not within the rules of trading, but since it seems like he's ceased trading entirely (no feedbacks since July when this trade originally started) maybe @anticipation23 could paypal Mike for the beer he sent, maybe a little extra for gas money, to at least make him whole.

Or perhaps he could give money to one of the other Wisconsiners (Wisconsinites?) that are active in trading so that a box can be sent.

Either way, I can understand if someone has ceased trading activity, that getting a box out of them could be more difficult than is logical to pursue.
