Wow. Someone else besides me giving some love to Bristol. Warlock is my go to easy drinking stout. Now if they'd just do XXX Warlock again...

XXX Warlock might be the most divisive beer in CO history. It's like our Triple Bock.

I still think of Epic as a Utah brewery. But, yeah, that stout is #1 on my list too when welcoming into the fold.

Speaking of, this was at Black Bottle last night. May still be there.

And speaking of Black Bottle and stouts, I think their Liquid Metal is pretty solid.

I loved it when I had it. I see from reading reviews of it that I may love it even more if I had the ability to hold on to it for a few years. Sounds very English like.

Ten Fidy and Yeti for sure, but I'm a big fan of Left Hand. Wake Up Dead, Black Jack, Smoke Jumper, and Milk Stout.

A lot of you mention Left Hand Wake Up Dead, but I prefer Fad to Black vol. 1. Unfortunately its' gone now, but I have it on my list to get when it comes back out.

Ten FIDY is great because you can drink it a month old and it's amazing. Hold on to it for 6 months...even more amazing! I stocked up this winter so I could hold on to some for a year, two, and possibly 3.

Meph....not so much. It needs a year- IMO.

TWEAK too. It's great after a few months but is on a new level after 1-3 years (however long you can wait).

The GD Yeti lineup just doesn't do it for me...they're mediocre in comparison.

Diebolt The Commodore is one of the best local beers I've had lately.

Grapevine had plenty on the "front" shelves as of last time I was in there, about a week ago.

I assume he means another Avery stout. While I normally follow the 2-3 year aging rule, the Czar is phenomenal with 5+ years on it. Back when the B&B had their vintage menu, I used to order mid 2000's Czar regularly.

They don't have the vintage menu any more? Or are you throwing us off track....

It still exists as a personal stash, but there's no actual menu or proper way to order anything at the moment. Supposedly the Minister wants to re-launch it and do it really well. Seems that's just one of those things they haven't had time for with all of the new taps, bottles, kitchen, etc.
When it does...look out. There are some scary things that could be on that list.
