We'll see how many people want to go if there's no bottle sharing.

As far as the ticket prices. i can see the last two years increase due to the festival property expansion. this year, i'll bite, even for 40 dollars. i genuinely have fun at the share and meeting new folks. my tickets would have to be the right to purchase bottles. I will not bite for the GA. I did a pair of GA last year for the wife to join on the shares and pours. But if i don't get tickets, i'll just host a share.

 

It will still sell out in record time, people will still be shut out and searching for tickets. A bottle share will still happen in line to get in like it always does, and in the parking lots all day. The only thing that will change will be the amount of bitching. Which will increase, but considering how much bitching there was before, it will only be a blip on the radar.

 

I noticed something about safety and crossing train tracks... Was there an accident or something? Or have they always made that announcement and I just missed it in the past?

 

That was there last year, or maybe the last 2. There is a neighborhood on the other side of the tracks and I dont think they want people parking over there and having the party extend that way. Otherwise it's pretty well confined within the industrial park.

 

I got my general admission ticket by putting my email address in a drawing, and won. It was good time drinking the guest beers and enjoying eyehategod and high on fire. I would rather get bottles this year though.

 

It's always been like that, also it's illegal to cross train tracks except at crossings as a pedestrian so no incident necessary really for that rule.

 

Maybe they need the extra $10 per ticket for all of the free variants they will be giving away. Haha

Wonder if this will be the new label on the Dark Lord? Not that anyone actually goes there for the Dark Lord...

 

When does a trade list get set up? After people get tickets? I'd imagine this will be a great time to get some IP trades done.

 

I doubt it, it will probably be the same one from last year and 2013. Last year all of the website art was completely different from the label. With that being said, I wouldn't be totally against this as the label. It is pretty cool.

 

The quota on rumors has not been met in order to start actual conversation.

 

Most likely the art on the golden tickets as last year was the Mayan, Aztec, etc. design / theme.

 

Good call! Also, the gold foil behind the...Pirate Dark Lord? makes these being golden tickets even likelier.

Anyone else notice that they removed the "can I bring my own beer" section of the FAQ?

I wonder if they are still working out this detail, since the state police that showed up late afternoon last year had a different interpretation of whether it was legal to bring your own bottles into the festival.
