Good list, but I was really hoping to see Sump on here.

That's always the case, wine drinkers always say the same thing but there's always limits between what's available and how many can be tasted during the review

I'd take MBCP and possibly BBB or Victory at Sea over BCBCS. And if we're including others...Good Morning, Wide Awake It's Morning, KBBS, and maybe Mocha Wednesday.

I can get behind the top 3; but Master of Disguise higher than Founders Breakfast Stout? I don't think so.

Actually a pretty decent list from Thrillist for a change. Only major problem is MBCP being ranked so low. It's the best coffee beer I've ever had, and I've had BCBCS both from '13 and '14.

There are no imported beers on the list which makes me think they were limiting it to US-only releases.

Master of Disguise shouldn't even be on the list. What a boozy mess of a beer.

Best I've had recently is Naughty Sauce by Noble Ale Works in California. Really took me by surprise.

Totally different style than the others listed and I realize it's not distributed outside of the NJ/PA/NY area, but those who were lucky enough to find it will back me up that Carton Regular Coffee is not only worthy of being on this list but near the top of it.

Peche Mortel is available in many states, mostly in the East. He didn't look hard enough :stuck_out_tongue:

Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout was not impressive at all to me. Tweak is just another syrupy disaster from Avery that I've seen result in multiple drain pours at the bar from people who generally like high-gravity, barrel-aged beers. Still surprised to not see any mention of Sump, Winter Grind or Bell's Java Stout though.

I actually think Tweak is pretty great. Looking forward to trying sump later this week.

Agree, before SUMP BCBCS was my hands down favorite but regular Sump blew it away for me. Cant wait to try the BA version.
