Totally this. I have an upright freezer I converted last year to be at cellar temp and it's almost completely full, and stuff still spills over into other fridges and storage spaces. My wife doesn't drink beer much and I rarely have people over these days. and I already have stuff going bad or drank sub-optimallly (and end up with more drain pours than I'd care to admit out of the "fresh" fridge) after only doing this more seriously for a few years.

i'm basically not buying beer unless I need it for a BIF and even then, I'm trying not to do as many. need to get better organized so I drink things in a better order too.

 

Hint: my first hint was a hint within a hint, something like #beerception.

My other issue is my own drinking patterns, trying to not drink a beer a day or with a meal and finding a balance with proper diet and work outs and fasting from beer to than "binge" drinking on days your allowing yourself to drink.

At times, I feel like does 1 beer with a meal a day = bad health? 2-3 drinks per week max? Not drinking anything for a month, than drinking all the built up beer over a couple week period?

I rather do bottle share type events, cause with smaller pours over longer hours, I feel like I drink more but never feel "drunk".

 

It's pretty commonly accepted that 2 drinks per day (12oz of 5% beer) is a positive for your health, but 3/day negates the benefit, and more than 4 is detrimental. Obviously you need to convert what you're drinking into "standard drink" units (ie a 22oz bomber of 12% stout = 4.4 'drinks') but there it is.

 

Wouldn't mind anywhere up to a four pack if you have some to spare.

 

Was curious, did we ever make any progress on getting our master list hosted and in a Google Doc? I've been seeing people ask about this in the Stouts BIF and made me think about the list Mike and Josh were working on.

Hint 5? - If I were to run to my target's city at the pace of my fastest marathon, it would take me ~114 hours to arrive.

 

Would not mind 2 bottles if you can get them. Trade or pickitupforme... BW is one of my favorite styles...and they age well.

 

Josh is the current Keeper of the Google Doc -- I think we had it mostly done (although some cells weren't completed yet); he was trying to figure out how to make different parts updateable by different people. We DO have a semi-complete master list but the googledocification of it isn't there yet.
