I looked up his times (remember, he did a LIF), converted 26 miles and 385 yards to miles (with decimals) and then ratioed -- I don't have it in front of me anymore, but I think I came out to somewhere in the 1000-1100 mile range; then I mapquested the distance from his house to all the remaining targets I had -- HOWEVER, I did all the detailed calculations without verifying that I had the right marathon distance, I may have eliminated targets incorrectly earlier, and I used driving distance when maybe I should have used straight line. I just thought it was a "fun" exercise. #nerd

And I probably screwed up somewhere because I kept getting interrupted by work.

I actually had a really good time yesterday -- it was a balmy 35 degrees or so here -- I used the snowblower to get rid of Saturday night's 3 inches of snow, plus it was finally warm enough to (bit by bit) get the half inch thick ice slabs that I had driven over off and packed down off my driveway, and I also raked the snow off my roof (as I walked around the house wearing snowshoes). And all of this was done in a sweatshirt (no jacket).

Of course, it's down to about 10 degrees again now

I felt bad because my dad was out yesterday morning snowblowing/shoveling/clearing stuff out, only for the sun to stay out most of the day, have it hit the low 40s, and a majority of it melt anyway....

I actually figured it out using 26 miles and 385 yards. And @ajaylock 's best time was 2:47:28. So I think I was close on the distance...

I am THRILLED when that happens. If you have more than a couple of inches though, the top melts and then refreezes and you REALLY have a mess.

I have an extension cord from my generator to my gas fireplace ('burbs). Wife is hopped up on Prosecco . Kid has a $2 flashlight and is self entertained. Just in case I freeze to death and this is my last night on earth, I must drink this beer (before I check in at the Westin)

Zeelander didn't make it past a drink. Clearly had frozen, but dat nose......damn. The Tsunami was better, still evidence of freeze/thaw(really watered taste). But hey, I definately ain't complaining. Just so everyone knows this was a complete ninja box. @Vinithing BM'd me and let me know he "had a vision" and in this vision he saw a tracking number for a box to me. I appreciate it very much and can't wait to try the other 2, although I'm gonna save the CW 17. All I know is you best watch yo porch son...

Man, I told you that you need to move to Houston to get away from all that cold and snow. I have no idea how you all get around with that much snow. Just crazy. Hope those Texas sized snow plows come by soon.

That's a bummer, you said two bottles didn't completely survive, but you didn't mention that they were a freeze/thaw problem.

In the future if that happens, just don't drink them for 3 or 4 days. The CO2 will go back into solution in the beer and it should be perfectly fine (or close); whereas if opened so close to the thaw it'll all be in the neck of the bottle and escapes upon being opened, thus the flat watered down beer.

I should have waited now that I look back. But it wasn't too terrible here, shipped Monday and should have arrived Wednesday. The boxes were stuck in KY until today, so it ended up taking a week to get there. I think KY and think it's gotta be much nicer weather than the crap WI winters we get, not the case I guess. Good thing we get TG distro now, I will reload and try again.
