    You get a "like" for Peché, and also for telling inanimate / amorphous things like seasons to fuck off. Think I do that every day, in one form or another.

    Had a nice session at Hopleaf last night (Zombie Dust, Mutiny and the Mollusk, Rose de Gambrinus, and a killer Duck Reuben). I think it'll be a barleywine night.

    Haha I felt the need to go with something Patriotic for the next few days! I'm sure I will go back to something with SN and/or Torpedo though!

    Funny thing is after work mulling through the aisles at the bottle shop I stared at Old Raspy and Torpedo for quite some time, then took home Great Divide products only! Titan, Hercules and Espresso Oak Aged Yeti (which I was craving all day regardless of the heat!) Cheers ~

    I've never had a complaint about any Great Divide beer! Have you had any Yeti before? I think it'll tickle your fancy (I know it does mine!)

    Yeah it's an awesome Black IPA, they should consider making it year-round.. it's an easy winner from Arcadia.. this was my last bottle..

    Oh Rio's fine, city's beautiful and dirty as always (my fave combo), but the national archives are on strike so I'm not sure how it's going to affect my research plans. Maybe not at all, but we'll see.

    But I'm going to switch over to straight cachaça again in a little bit, write some work e-mails, apply for jobs, and maybe work on a blog. So, Rio's dandy. Everyone should visit before they die—just not the place for people who don't like walking a lot and need to wash their hands a lot.

    Definitely, I love all the brew that I've tried from them, great brewers! My favorite from them wasn't on the shelves today, Oak Aged Chocolate Stout…mmmmmm, so damn good! Cheers bro ~

    It's the girlfriends birthday so we went out to dinner. Luckily she wanted to go to the place with the best beer in our area. So I started with a fresh Sculpin and a Left Hand Nitro Stout. Now I'm drinking a Blue Mountain Dark Hallow and watching the Patriot.

    I'm not sure if we're crazy, but my brother and I swear we can pick up a very slight jalapeño scent in the nose. There is also hardly any coffee scent or flavor. Anyone ever heard of this? My brother has had a number of coffees and never had this with any of his others. This is my first so I have no frame of reference.
