Beer Cellar glen ellyn, sold out in prolly 25 mins, missed BA jones dog and luckily got last BA abduction on the shelf

 

That's what I figured. I heard they got it. I wonder why the got their's early?

 

They are a FwB location. So any FwB members I think can go there and pick up their bottles. I think there are 4 locations like this including LP Binnys. But I think the owner of Beer Cellar put 8 bottles of his own stock of The Abduction on sale. Not 100% on any of this but pretty sure that's the case.

 

ahhh didn't realize Beer Cellar was a FwB location.

 

I've been told only 40 cases of The Abduction distributed with 15 cases dedicated to FwB. 480 bottles?! Glad I was able to get my hands on a bottle. I'm a fan of Four Roses so very interested to see the effect on the base beer. Hmmm...when to drink..??

@gfunk1121 , I heard the same...missed it at Capone's by 4 minutes and struck out at Beer Temple as well (though did get a bottle of BA Jones Dog). I did have some time to make other rounds so I got my hand on a bottle of BA Abduction...which I'm happy with just one considering how little there is to go around.

Not sure if it was at all accurate, but when I called Fischman's they were getting their shipment but were not planning on selling until later tonight or possibly tomorrow for those who are still trying to track one down.

 

Shite! I forgot the FWB pickup started this weekend. Was waiting for an email reminder that they are available. Glad I checked this thread. To the Binnysmobile!

 

Local shop here is holding on to them for a bit. Lots of regulars and trying to figure out best way to make it fair.

 

Can someone please explain this FwB thing to me? Is it the location or a list that individuals are on??

 

A small place in the South Suburbs (Homewood) called Grape and Grain gets pretty much every release. It is where I found Crimson Snapper and Sure Bet.

 

Friends with benefits. If you donated money to pipeworks kick starter you get to buy their beer without having to chase trucks and scower BA.

I went Friday to Binny's on North Ave got my Murderous which was excellent and asked them about BA Abduction and he goes yeah we have them but they are for FWb only

Yep, it's always been like that. I hold for 7 days for FwB, and then anything left hits the shelf. So anything goes on Friday.

Binnys on grand has BA abduction for anyone right now, they sold out of the BA jones dog as i got there.
