Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates (2018)

Does anyone have any comments on how the latest BA bottles are? Still debating about picking mine up.

 

If you are hesitating, you should not buy it and leave it for someone smarter who knows not to hesitate

I was in there when they had Jones Dog. Told me no BA Abduction. Turns out one of the cases they thought was Jones Dog was BA Abduction. Not very happy...

The Binny's employee's thought the BA abduction was BA jones dog. When I asked if they had either they said they sold out of BA jones dog and that the BA abduction was forgotten but hoping it would be delivered shortly. I waited around for 10 minutes and someone came out with the case of BA abduction. He told another worker "hey that case of BA jones dog in back was actually the Ba abduction." To my point when they thought the BA abduction was BA jones dog why wouldnt they sell me a bottle of the BA jones dog instead of telling me it was out.

 

I think Beth not being there has a lot to do with it, she is always on top of shit there, where as the rest…. well ill keep that to myself.

 

Damn, I just got to Binnys Grand, too. Oh well. At least I got some more Brooklyn Chocolate Stout here lol

ONLY BEER!?!?!?! If I obtain one of these I could potentially trade it for someone's first born...

 

While you're right, that saying needs to be applied to BCBS and DLD threads first. Any leftover "it's only beer" sentiment may then be applied to other BA beers, sours, and finally DIPAs, in that order.

 

If I can't tickle my taste buds with a bottle of BA Abduction...

...well...

...what's the point of living?

Hahahahahaha wow, apparently I didn't reload my Twitter feed fast enough.

I will say this: PW has a long way to go before they become the "Have any Three Floyds" or "I'm looking for Bourbon County" style brewery (you know, because their stuff actually exists on a shelf occasionally), but my recent experiences with Sure Bet and Crimson Snapper (fueled by the Square Grouper craze) would tell me that you're right. People are getting wayyyy too wrapped up in PW stuff (not that it's not great).

 

I don't think there's any such thing as being TOO WRAPPED up in Pipeworks releases. I definitely have to change my underwear every time they put out another great one!

 

Just as a general reminder, the BA series artwork has a very uniform color scheme and style that, at glance, makes them all look the same. I miscounted my cases twice when checking against the invoice because of this.

So my guess is that's why one was thought to be another.
