Just had this in WNY on tap for the first time - looking forward to seeing this soon! Time to make some room in the beer locker.

I doubt it considering sculpin goes for 14 and big eye for 10.50 by me. Sculpin is expensive enough as it is.

I heard $15 which is still upsetting.

Cheers to whoever feels like paying that, but it won't be me. I'll take a 12 pack of SNPA.

Probably my favorite beer BP makes, which is not saying much since most of their stuff is below average.

However, If this beer is more than $10 a sixer, that's a joke. Who the hell pays these prices.... And if its you, please stop.

Dude who works there said "just like all our 6 packs." I'm sorry, but Sculpin, V@S, and Dorado are three of maybe 10 6-packs they have, not including Sculpin variants.

I've heard the Ballast Point guys are really nice to up and coming breweries - helping them out where they can. Also their Miramar brewery is insanely beautiful and huge.

That being said, they got some arrogance making some expensive ass, average beer.

Agreed. If there is one thing that just doesn't fly anymore it's obnoxiously priced beer. Reminds me of overpriced french wines which are usually a disappointment and cen be bettered by other wines for half the cost.

There are soooooo many choices for beer these days for fair/reasonable prices that overpaying for what amounts to being the same basic ingredients and processes is just not going to work, IMO. Sculpin is good and all and I'm sure this pale ale is too. But, so are a hundred other pale ales out there. I feel the same way about some of the Belgian beers, many of which end up being NOT that good and expensive for no reason.

10.99 would be nice. Otherwise, shelf turd.

I'll max at out 11.99. Anything passed that is a fucking joke.

Picked up a case last night, 14.99 it is. Thankfully I received a discount otherwise wouldn't have picked it up. Alesmith down the street selling 394 for 12.99, too high but love the beer and TG so pulled the trigger. Toss up for me between the two but I think I give the nod to 394.

Most BP stuff is are shelf turds because of the price. Saw Sculpin 22oz for $10 only a few days ago.

Saw my local store got six packs today and went with the intention of bringing one home, but not at $15. Why it's priced the same as Grapefruit Sculpin is beyond me. It's a tasty beer but that price is insane for a pale ale.

I saw Grapefruit Sculpin for $14 at Bevmo yesterday and Grunion was $18. That doesn't make any sense. Grunion is a great pale ale but it should be half the price. LOL at calling Ballast Point below average.

Hmmm... disappointed in the reports on the price. Had this on tap and it was fantastic, but I can't support the big price escalations that BP and Founders (think Dissident) seem to be trying. Supply and demand and all that, but it brings out an FU reaction in me.
