Haha good! I wanted to like that much so badly, I sat there searching for the right combo of flavor but just could'nt capture it . Might be that I just wanted it to have a little more body, but oh well, Im glad you and others have enjoyed it! To each his own.

And yeah, once I crack open some Ballast Point, shits gonna be gettin real nautical up in here

 

Same here. I busted a bottle last week open and drank it all by myself, wish I had shared it, as it was too much artificial hazelnut flavor. The base beer was good as a brown, just not a fan of the hazelnut flavor, and I LOVE hazelnut. I have 2 more bottles.. Might ration them off or share with friends that want to try.

 

and why you didn't invite me is because??? I always wanted to check out Salvador in Bahia... have a caipirinha on me!

An entire day of Heady Topper and now a 2011 KBS. Ah vacation.

 

No shit?! I lived there for six months in 2006. It's a great city, very complicated though, and I've heard it's gotten a lot rougher since then. But, I haven't been back in almost six years, so I can't speak to that personally.

 

My thoughts exactly.

 

Starting the night with a Lake Erie Monster.

 

Getting back in the game after a couple days off with a mild cold. Having a Brau Brothers Hop Session Super Pale Ale, Surly Bitter Brewer, and Sam Adams Summer Ale. Listening to a live recording of a Jack White show from a couple days ago.

 

I'll be watching your every move.

 

5 days off, fridge full of beer, and a few planned beer events. Doesn't get much better.

Not the most exciting beer but I'm trying to pace myself. (not doing the best at pacing myself HAHA)

 

Great view... wish my stem didnt break recently, I would love a smoke myself .
And thats the first good picture Ive really seen of the Firestone Reserve snifter, I am so pumped to get mine in the mail

Sure brings back memories as the Nasty Nati is my hometown, although I haven't drank any of those beers in many years! Hudepohl brings back great memories of the Queen City though! Suddenly I am craving a dozen White Castle hamburgers! Cheers ~
