Anyone know if/where we can get some of the IPA/pale ale bottles around the greater cincinnati area? And any word on when Bodhi will get bottled/distributed?
No, next question? AFAIK, Columbus Brewing doesn't have a distributor down here and has no interest in finding one. Don't worry, Columbus is only an hour and a half away.
It's mainly due to the size of the brewery at the moment. The new building that they purchased will allow them to increase their production by a huge amount. I'd guess that with that expansion, you might see their stuff in Cincy. That said, if you really want possible answers, the guy you want to talk to is @tcorder219. He's a really good guy all around. I think I've told him that a time or two
Yep. What Keffa said. Our production is limited at the moment. We max out at about 1,000 bbl/month in our current brewery. Columbus keeps the lion share of that with a very little making its way to NE Ohio. IPA is the only bottle NE Ohio sees, and they get a small percentage of each draft one off. Priority #1 is to get the new brewery open and expand offerings in existing markets. (It would be really nice to have more than 1-2 bottled beers available at any given time). AND YES, this includes Bodhi bottles. Everyone chill. As soon as we're comfortable in existing markets, we will turn to Dayton, Cinci, NW Ohio, and SE Ohio.....and so on. Who knows. We are hoping to have the new brewery "live" by the end of summer.
BTW, my "Everyone chill" comment about Bodhi bottles was more of a broad response, as i figured that'd be the next question asked if I didn't address it. Had nothing to do with the OP. Just wanted to clarify.
And again, Tony, you are the man Gotta try to get up there to share a beer with you at some point and pick your brain some more. Got some ideas, and would love some input from you Cheers!
