    True.
My perspective was that it was, literally, a once in a lifetime purchase.

But it blows my mind that people would pay so much for a bomber of Rare, now more than ever. I felt like I couldn't be trusted with my own wallet when the total for my two bottles was over $100, haha.

I noticed on Craigslist that 90% of the "beer for sale" listings are being deleted each day. Most of them are selling BCBS and its variants so I hope that this may help us find it in the future and not have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Here's to hoping.

Interesting - Beer Menus is showing Prop on tap at Howells & Hood. Wonder if that is a mistake and it's regular BCBS.

No mistake; it's real and it's spectacular.

Not sure what surprises me more, the fact that they landed a keg of Prop, or that they just silently tapped it.

They do that stuff all the time. I work down the block and we go there for beers after work, etc. You'd be surprised at what kegs they get and they just tap them randomly.

Just got home from this. Fantastic selection. Finally got to get my hands on the cherry, which, unbelievable.....

Glad I braved the blizzard of '15 to hit it up. Zero complaints.

Goose Clybourn tapping and selling bottles of Vanilla Rye starting at 7:30pm Friday night, per Twitter account. Dunno specifics of the bottle sale.

Seriously? Jesus. I was next door at Binny's enjoying some Abrasive and had half a mind to drop in. Glad I didn't.

Even if Vanilla Rye taps in 20 minutes though, I'd like to give that Wheat Wine a try (I'm a sucker for things that say "raspberries!!!"), and BCBS is always an acceptable alternative.

Last Friday the new Whole Foods in Streeterville had Prop and Vanilla on tap. Sounded like it started in the early afternoon and, at least Prop, lasted til around 7 p.m. Nothing flashy...just had the beer on tap with no fanfare.
