There are still 17 Sucaba at my local Bevmo. Going to probably have some Parabola months after the release as well. I'm a lucky guy lol.

Why not just go to the brewery and ask? It's in Paso

It's pretty easy to find as long as you don't lag.

So as long as I have him within a couple of days of when it lands, that should be adequate?

Would you consider sending some across the country?

Great beer but it doesn't age for shit. Don't keep it around longer than 2 years.

Maybe not long term aging, but I have found that a year or two works mighty fine with Parabola. Had 2012 a couple times in 2014 and it was magical

A statement without merit. Some beers age for many years beautifully.

Although tangentially related - and there doesn't seem to be a recent isolated thread about this - my local shop still has 3 bottles of 2015 Sucaba for $15.99 if anyone here needs one.

Anyone know about LA-area Parabola sightings yet?

I have a spot that still has DDBA and XVIII and another couple spots that still have Sucaba '15, but haven't seen Parabola '15 anywhere. I do know a spot that has some Parabola '14, but he charges an arm and a leg. $35 I think it was.

Anyone chasing after Parabola should BM this guy because the XVIII is the best beer from FW I have ever had its the highest % of Parabola and Stickee Monkee blended and it was FANTASTIC I would rather have more of this without even tasting this years parabola, but I will be getting this years parabola soon. I dream one day of a 50-50 blend of those two beers but only time will tell

I wouldn't wait too long on the 18. It is, by far, the best (fresh) of all anniversary releases, reminded me so much of the 14 which to me was one of the best FW Anniversary releases. Enjoy it in good health and good company!
