i like my women like i like my fantomes; earthy, funky, hopefully not sick, sprinkled with hints of horseblanket and citrus, dusty, and appropriately aged.

ok maybe none of these are right.

 

It was quite a strange beer, but I did like it...

 

Still have two.

 

As an infrequent trader and a massive JK fan, I am sad to have never had it.

What was odd/bad about it in everyone's estimation (those who didn't enjoy it)?

 

It basically just tastes like a Fantome beer. I think pepole were expecting something super crazy awesome, but it's just a nice saison.

I had Fantome Del Rey at the regular GMan tasting with Matt, Eric, Paul, and on that day it was just bad. Let me clarify, I am not just saying this because greenspoint brought that bottle either.
