Unless you're Avery. Or just about any brewery that has a beer in 12oz and 22oz bottles... Never understood that one.

The answer to that is simple: because they can and people continue to pay for it.

They don't usually sell single 12 oz bottles though. So it's consistent with paying more per oz to buy a smaller quantity

I think he means the other way: more per oz to buy the big format. Like, a 22oz of you-name-it is more $$ than a 6pk of the same.
Right? Or is my confusion palpable? :grimacing:

    Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what he means, but 72oz > 22oz

So would like Highlands Ranch (god forbid you go there) be New Mexico for you?

More like Gitmo. I shudder to think about going to HR

I work within sight of it and HR makes me shutter, too.

Same. We all may live in different parts of Denver, but we share a common thread: Highlands Ranch is the worst.

You can't make an apples to apples price comparison from growlers to on premise consumption, six packs, bombers, etc.

Unit cost, a 16oz glass is lower than a 10oz glass is lower than a 4oz glass.
Unit cost, a 64oz growler fill is lower than a 32oz growler fill.
Unit cost, a case of 12oz is lower than a six-pack.

Still have a few kegs left. Doubt it'll be around next weekend.

Must fill growlers this weekend! Damn snowpocalypse has kept me in the Springs the past two weekends but it's finally looking better.

I finally made it to Comrade yesterday. Hop Chops is as good as advertised. I'm quickly becoming a Comrade fanboy. I haven't had a bad beer yet. Too bad I live so far away.

Stopped in today for a fill of Hop Chops but got drawn in by Man Oar-Board Scotch Ale so I had a glass and I am glad I did.

Hop Chops was at Falling Rock as of Sunday. In all honestly it's a GREAT beer but to me Superpower is much more drinkable and at 8oz for like $7-8 I'm definitely sticking to Superpower from here on out. I understand the pricing based on the hop bill but it's just not as enjoyable to me as Superpower. Glad I got to try it though
