I did! Took a picture of it too. Even had a female that was confirm it was in the woman's too. At least I can now say I'm famous in the women's bathroom at the bruery.

Oh yeah, shoot, could have told you it was in the women's too since my girl walked in when we were there and said she recognized the name for all of the forum lurking she does.

Be sad. I'm stuck collecting every dino glass now. The thought of having a hole in my glass vertical (or horizontal?) makes me go crazy.

Exactly. I wish there was a membership for them or something so that I can at least save on shipping. Lol

They should call it the "Jurassic Park" membership.

I feel you. I'm bad. I just collect them mostly for fear I may break one. I only drink out of the most recent released glass.

They are pouring beauragarde in the tasting room now as a reserve society offering pour.

Melange 10 was also a Mexican inspired bleed right? Any notes?

Beauragarde is ALREADY off. must have either pulled it or run out.

Bourbon was big but not overly boozy. Hints of fruit but also caramel and maltiness. Really smooth for a 15% ABV blend. Super Delicious.

Nice, thanks for the label shot. After all the BS associated with the Hunahpu releases I am still banking on someone from the west-coast brewing up a Huna-killer so we can have something similar without having to deal with all the shenanigans. The devil in me would like it to be called 'Conquistador' or "Cortes' stout" ... political correctness be damned. High hopes for M12 but based on the the 2 blended beers it likely won't fit that profile in terms of a stout but am still excited for a spicy cinnamon beer.

** Was't Old Richland just Oaked, not Bourbon barrel aged? That label (60% BBA X: 40% BBA Y) seems off.

They didn't use Oaked Old Richland. They used BA Old Richland. Two different beers.

The beer is good, but it isn't a stout. Mostly caramel, cinnamon, and a little roasted cocoa and chillies in the finish. I think the carbonation really helps this version. Very drinkable. The chocolate comes out more after it warms up. Not too sweet I could easily drink a bottle of this by myself.

I was at the blending event for this. I got to try it and I thought it had more of a chocolate flavor then , then it has now. It was also flatter then too. The original blend used Sucre and Mash. This one uses The anniversary base and the BA Old Richland.

indeed. I walked in after the tour of the new bottling line and they had it on reserve. immediately ordered a glass. went back to get another after my beer and it was taken off.

Completely agree. 100%. Hunahpu is a once a year release as is Mexican Cake. And with the changes CCB made to Hunahpu Day, getting bottles will be even harder this year. I cringe at some of the pre-FT:ISO's on '15 Huna. It's not a $50 bottle but that is for another thread. Hunahpu and Mexican Cake are my favorites in that style. The problem is there isn't much in that style I love. Odd Sides Mayan Mocha and Prairie Bomb! are quite good but a tier down in my opinion. I truly believe Bruery could brew a world class beer in this style. I can't wait to try Melange 10 and would love to try a base beer version.
