By chance, I had my folks stop by and grab a bottle today around 4. Take the next bit with a grain of salt but the word from the cashier was they didn't have much left...on the order of 20 bottles. No idea how much truth there is in that statement, just sharing what was related to me.

As I stated "grain of salt".

Just spoke with the general store and they anticipate it to be available through the weekend.

I'm sitting here sipping one now and the bartender told me that it wouldn't last through the weekend. Then again I'd take the bartender's word with an even bigger grain of salt.

They have a full display (albeit a very small display) of singles and four-packs that is full ATM in the store. Didn't bother to look around at case qtys.

I'd think the general manager would know better than the bartender.

I'd tend to agree. Then again perhaps they segregate tasting room stock and general store stock, and they were speaking of two different inventories.

That was my first time at the new brewery. I figured it was due to some event at the Hershey Arena today or something. Seems it would be in their interest to expand the parking lot.

Yup. Just a steady line of cars looping in and out. Luckily I was just making a stop on the way home from Harrisburg, and didn't care about staying for a beer.

Sounds like victory on the weekends. 2 hour wait for a table..4 deep at the bar. And no parking.

i think talking about it in 4-packs as opposed to singles is what makes it feel so expensive. Lost Abbey 375s of their BA stuff runs $15 at the brewery and $17 on average in stores. That would be $60-$70 per "4-pack". Even Avery BA beers like Rumpkin, Uncle Jacobs, etc... Run higher than $12 per bottle. I think they are right there if it is good.

Took the tasting tour yesterday and was told Heaven Hill barrels. Sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere.

So lets see, regular Flying Mouflan bombers were $8 a couple years ago. And it was a perfectly fine beer. Possibly my favorite from Troegs. So we account for inflation/cpi..yadda yadda..carry the one.. put it in some barrels.. Yeah this version is basically 2.684 times more expensive. Oh wait.. I forgot to add hype, now it makes sense.
    No thanks, I'll pass.
