20 miles- Stubborn Beauty , great beer, great vibe.
30 miles - Beard -- Great beer, but better to get a growler and go.
44 miles - Firefly - Great beer, really cool atmosphere
4 miles - I've heard great things about Steady Habits, however I haven't been able to make it there yet with their limited hours. We will see. I know the owner from his "day job", very knowledgeable.

This is like being asked to name your favorite child. Which I could do by the way but that's neither here nor there.

Side Project is my favorite without a doubt.

Dang. Tough choice with quite a few popping up in last year or so in Buffalo ,NY.
Going with a tie : Resurgence for their imperial sponge candy stout and Big Ditch for their Hayburner IPA

Jacks Abby. Some of their releases are only available at the brewery, and the beer is fresh.

Within 10 minutes local, I have a newish brewery called Arclight, that as of right now is strictly beer served in house.
I seriously hope these guys can grow to the point of bottling soon.
Within 30 minutes local, is Kalamazoo, and I can't even begin to pick a favorite with all the breweries that brings into the picture.
There are breweries in every direction that make some awesome beer.
    I love S.W. Michigan!

The owner is personable and hangs out at tours and most importantly brew the most solid beers. They don't bottle which sucks but at least you know everything is always fresh on tap.

Overall, probably Zero Gravity. The beers are varied in style to suit any mood, the bar is enjoyable to hang at for as long as you'd wish and the option of tasty pizza is always there. No other nearby brewery has all of those options in one. The only better total brewery experience is Lost Nation but that's a bit of a haul.

Love almost everything at my local brewpub, Vintage Brewing, which is almost walking distance from my house (though not right now when it's 6 degrees outside). This afternoon I had a cask brown ale that had been aged with yerba mate, and a pretty stellar smoked baltic porter. Skipped the brandy-barrel aged dubbel, but will be going back for it. All their normal beers are decent too.
Couldn't tell you my favorite for the breweries around here that sell bottles, kind of depends on the season.

I have a hard time picking one over the other. I was actually at both today. I'm going to give Kane the win for flights but Carton for canned beers. Still a tie overall. I'm just glad I can hit both easily in one day.

That place is my favorite for flights. They make me wish I still lived in Orange County, NY.

Snake River Brewing in beautiful Jackson Hole Wyoming. A litter farther away Sockeye Brewing just kills it with hoppy beers as well.......

I love that place. Took a trip up there in November. Beautiful scenery matched with great rustic ales!
