Lost Nation is so overlooked in this state. Incredible stuff all around.

In New Brunswick, we only have a handful of microbreweries (Between 5 and 10) but my favourite is easily Picaroons. They make English inspired Ales and are always top notch quality-wise.

Straight to Ale - their barrel aged beers are some of the best in the South and beyond. Especially BA versions of Laika.

Blue Pants - some new and exciting things happening here. The Chocolate Oatmeal Porter, and Pilsner just being two examples of recent outstanding releases.

Good People - Snake Handler and El Gordo, yep.

    Berryessa Brewing, Winters CA.

If we include local metros, I'd have to say Cellarmaker.

Mine was Barrier but in the last year Other Half has come out of nowhere and blew them away. So now it's Other Half.

Short's (ahem, my avi) up in Bellaire. It's about four hours from my home, but I like to make the trip every summer. Not only do they have great regular brews, but they do some fun experimental stuff that's up my alley. And the food is awesome.

Closer to home is Blue Tractor in Ann Arbor (there's also a location up north in Traverse City). Some of the best barbeque and decent brews, too.

For me it would be Free Will Brewing in Perkasie, PA. It's located in my old hometown and these guys are just cranking out great beer all the time! They just opened their taproom in November and they are packed all of the time!

    Treehouse Brewery - Monson, MA.

Sure, it's a 45 minute drive for an hour and a half wait for cans and growler fills. But damn they make a tasty beer!!

I live in Southern California. Alpine is easily the best brewery. Based on quality and atmosphere.

They aren't too big yet so I'll say in San Diego, Modern Times, Societe & Council.
