Starting today, Maria's* in Bridgeport is releasing their multiple year stockpile of rare beers, one after the other. Soon as one gets kicks, the next gets tapped, and so on throughout the month. Some damn fine beers are on the menu, in order of tapping...

    Goose Island BCBS 2014
    Firestoen Walker Velvet Merkin
    Deschutes Black Butte XXVI
    Firestone Walker XVIII Anniversary
    Deschutes Abyss
    Firestone Walker Stickee Monkee
    Perennial Abraxas 2013
    Firestone Walker Sucuba 2013
    Revoltion Gravedigger Billy
    Firestone Walker Parabola 2013
    Marz Community Umami Stout
    Goose Island BCBS 2013

    Sauce: DNAinfoChicago

*For anyone who doesn't know, Maria's is possibly the best craft beer bar in the Chicago. And besides serving top notch brews on a daily basis, they also sell the same beers up front, and serve up some phenomenal cocktails. http://community-bar.com/

Best craft beer bar in Chicago? Meh. What they do have is an outrageously great staff. In the front and in the back.

Pretty normal pricing for Chicago. I went there once, interesting beer selection but kind of an odd vibe and really out of the way for me.

Sounds like @proseberry was giving his own personal opinion as well. Don't get all butt hurt cuz he didn't share your same opinion on Maria's...oh wait let me contribute to the posted topic, the prices on these beers are over priced (just my opinion).

The rolling out of the barrel is going much slower than I anticipated. Beermenus updated last night and they just tapped the Abyss. Would like to stop in for a 2013 Abraxas and 2013 Sucaba but it may be another 2+ weeks...
