Speaking of swag: I forgot to send swag to my round 4 target, but I have a swag box going out to him next week now that it's warming up. So I guess that means there's more than swag in it.

Nice, I'd imagine a cream ale on tap is AWESOME. Just seems like a style that would translate great to draught.

Is this the first year it was brewed? Wonder if they'll ramp up production on it next year.. Is it as popular and sought after as we make it seem in this thread?

 

First time they canned it. They brewed it last year for tap only. They can't really ramp up production as they basically used all their tanks in January to make this. So there was a shortage of 077 and Boat beer for awhile. Carton is very small and the brewery is basically an old house across the street from a school, so not a lot of room to expand

 

It is the first year it was packaged and distributed. It was draft only last year.

Carton has a very limited footprint and delivered a small amount to that footprint. We thought it was all gone a month ago...

 

Man, Carton is killing it for being a "smaller" brewery.

I'm certain I'm not the first to say that, but I've been blown away by everything I've tried from them.

 

I believe they have a 15 barrel system.

 

Kentucky is shutting down for the rest of the week. Therefore, my target, who clearly showed he has no clues as to me being his sender, will have to wait until next week for me to ship. That's a good thing as I just picked up a couple of brews to add to his box.

As for my target, I am not sure who you are but am thinking of a couple of people. In any case, don't send until next week as nothin will get to me until then.

New hint to my target: you do not like my favorite style of beer.

 

So after weeks of Antarctica style weather there was enough of a break for me to get a couple boxes delivered today. Just in time because it gets really cold again tomorrow.
The first box was from @Devman171 and it was loaded with wants. I have already started drinking from this box of goodies.


The second box was from @dwmetsfan13 I have wanted to try Trilliums offerings for quite a while and now I will finally get to. The rest of the box is bananas also . I think somebody thinks all trades in this group are rounds of the BIF. Trust me I'm not complaining.

I've kind of said all along that there was certainly no need for Jason @PassMeAZima to get a lottery box out to me the way I was taken care of by some other members of the group - you know who you are

He insisted - was a matter of pride to him, and we need more like him. A man of his word, obviously an awesome family guy as well the way he's soldiered on with everything going on with his wife. Really happy to hear everything is going in the right direction as well.

But now - on to the brews!

#VCS. Just got a 700+ oz box from a trade with a Local and this was the first thing I pulled out. Tons of pRon later.




And just saw two other boxes inbound. I gotta figure out from who.

 

All the time, hell I don't even track the boxes I'm supposed to receive.
