    I have yet to see this one in stores but couldn't you just look through the glass? Unless the black IPA is the same color as the IPA...:astonished:

    If both of the beers are pretty solid, then it's fun. Otherwise, pretty lame. I have to admit, though, I'm a huge sucker for a mystery/grab bag.

    Not a bad idea, but I would like it a lot more if they did two styles that looked similar so that you can't tell even when it's poured in the glass. Or maybe do one base beer with one set of hops and another with a different set, or different yeast, etc.

    Found one on the discount table, in Ala. Mine is the regular IPA. Too carbonated. Nice label, but a gimmick.

    was never able to get one with the black ipa. even holding up the bottles to the light i could not tell. oh well. are these fresh on the shelves? i think i had this fall of '12?
