Some of the hauls in here lately are unreal. I think I have some porch bombing to do.

Here's my weekly not a circle jerk hint.

    Hint 1 - Shipping South
Hint 2 - Shipping to a state partially bordered by at least one large body of water.
Hint 3 - Target has several local wants that I can hit including one that's currently in season (but not for much longer)

Hint 4 - I've shipped at least one BIF related box to my Target's state in the last couple of months. It was not to my target.

Might get this out next week. Weather starting to look like it will no longer be a factor for beer shipments.

Final Hint: My target has posted on this page (416), I'm switching to radio silence, shipping Monday.

Also, not shipping to @Mipper . Ha Ha, made you lurk!

Man, glad to see my little map is so popular!

If anyone else wants this done for their target, just tell me your city/state and how many minutes it would take to drive to your targets house. I'd be glad to create a few more of these

My neighbor grows them for his son. I've never done them myself but he has told me about his process so I might be able to help if you have a question

I've said this before but I will be out of town from March 6-15th so you might want to avoid arrival during this window, birthday camping, snowboarding and drinking trip

Just trying to figure out what are the best hops to grow and where to even find them. I would love to go citra, but read it's impossible to get seeds. So thinking cascade

Planning to this year, just trying to decide what variety to grow... I really want a NZ or other "new world" hop, but I can't find rhizomes of those types :slight_frown: Anyone have any ideas?

Pretty much this. Citra will definitely be impossible since it's a copyrighted type, as many new ones are; but not all of them. If I'm not mistaken, Nelson Sauvin is not, so I'm really hoping for that. I might need to reach out to an Aussie BA for some black market rhizomes.

I meant rhizomes not seeds, but then read some are seeds. I'm so confused.

I tried to grow hops once. The soil was horrible and I never fertilized them. The bines grew fairly long but I didn't get many flowers at all.

I have a co-worker that grows them successfully with good soil and miracle-grow.

I guess that I am past due for a target hint too...

    1. I've liked, commented about, or replied to one of your posts.
    2. At one point in the recent past, you had exactly the same number of likes as someone else in the locals (who sports a dog in his avatar)

    3. I'm shipping east, but probably not for another week or so...
    4. You haven't posted on this page, yet.

I bought a few rhizomes probably 3 years ago, Mt Hood, Centennial, and Cascade from Northwesthops.com. Planted them at my folks place and they have been doing well. The first year, you basically get very little, this past summer I harvested and dried 2 Gallon ziplock bags.. they are pretty cool, but much more work than i thought.

You can only buy them in the winter i think, and the really good ones are usually proprietary

I believe that he grows Centenial and Cascade. His seem to do pretty well. I think he also had Columbus but it got taken over by the others. He just ordered rhizomes online.
