I have a trade going out next week and my plan was to re-use a Lets Pour shipping box with thier cardboard packing and then have the trader use my box and send it back. Seemed like a great idea until I realized that when Lets Pour ships they clearly label the box that it contains bottles which I obviously can not do. Has anyone done this? They packaging is purpose built for shipping bottles but with out it labeled I am just concerned with how it gets handled....thoughts???

Where does Lets Pour put this disclaimer? Is it somewhere that the shipping label can be placed over? Thats what I always do when I want to cover something on the box

I'll be reusing a LetsPour box this week. The only alcohol-labeling on mine (6bottle shipper) is a sticker that peeled off pretty cleanly.

Nothing printed on the box mentions alcohol.

yeah, same with mine, I got the box clean I was just concerned that MAYBE shipping treated it a little different knowing it had bottles in (maybe didnt throw it across the room, although my brother used to work at a USPS sorting station and told me to NEVER put fragile on a box because you are just asking for it to get thrown)

I've used a box I got shipped and materials that got shipped to me from a store in San Diego and everything worked great. Just took the liquor sticker off and used everything else. Without the sticker it will just get treated like all the other boxes we are all sending to each other. If you are worried about it, you could always wrap each bottle in a little bubble wrap to be safe

I just received 2 boxes from letspour. They did not have stickers but printing on the box that said it had alcohol inside and that someone 21 or older had to sign for it (or something like that). I just took a sharpie to it and put the label over it best I could.

Also whats with the crappy wax paper ice packs they are including now, WTF dont they know it melts 2hrs after they put it int he box.

I dont know why but I have a hard time trusting those cardboard shippers where the bottles lay down, especially if the bottles are only 12oz. It seems like there could be a lot of movement back and forth. Although I've gotten two orders from lets pour and everything arrived in tact.

I liked the Let's Pour shippers- less bulky and probably more environmentally friendly than styrofoam. Has anyone seen them elsewhere? I was thinking of ordering from Let's Pour again to get another shipper.

Little pro tip for re-using our shippers with 12oz bottles is to reverse the direction so they sit backwards in the shipper, it will hold them in place better and not allow them to move around as much.

The MJ Rare Beer Club uses the same style shippers, made of cardboard pulp (I'm assuming they do at least, since I've never gotten a box from Letspour). I've gotten ones that hold anywhere from 4 bottles up to 12.

I haven't seen the Let's Pour shippers, but maybe they'd be a good candidate for box-within-a-box?

I shipped out 2 trades in the letspour boxes. Added a little bubble wrap and had no issues. I like the fact they line the boxes with plastic bags incase of breakage. They even did this with 2 sixers of cans I purchased.
