the muni/wayzata wine & spirits still had it on shelves last time i was there. dont know the price tag.

 

Is blushing monk hard to come by/worth trading? I only ask because up until now I've never heard of it.

 

It was the first ever Backstage release in 2010 or 2011? CBS was the second. The first time is was released it was limited but with this release they seem to have make more. Might be desirable to people out west (west of the line formed by ND, SD, NE, and KS) where Founders doesn't distribute.

it's good enough to buy and actually drink. never understood buying beers you've never had to just trade away.

 

With any beer I trade, I always make sure to get at least one for myself to drink.

 

Looks like Uinta is now available in MN. MGM Eagan has a few different ones. I've enjoyed everything I've had from them before.

 

They had a really good Kölsch-style bier, back in the day... (I still have my tee-shirt!)

How fresh is everyone finding Abrasive? And have they stopped canning?

 

Around a case of BA Bigfoot on the shelf at Vintage in Chanhassen yesterday.

 

2/6 was the last canning

 

Really a shame how little Abrasive we saw this year. A month's worth of canning is certainly not a lot when I'm the past I've seen it from November to January. Oh well, Chillwave will suffice for now, and I'll fall back on Scream when it runs dry.

 

Pentagram bottles?

 

There were still a couple left last time I was at Henn-Lake. There was also one or two at the Zipp's cellar sale, but those could be gone by now.

 

Golden Valley Liquor Barrel has it, but it's pricey. I think $23.99.

 

So what's it like when KBS hits the shelves here? I'm assuming it will be a pain to get bottles but was in Texas last year so wanted to know what I'll have to do.

 

Most stores I know of sold single bottles with a 1-2 limit, Im sure there are some that did 4paks, but might require some inside knowledge

 

From your profile pic you have the right idea. First born children is a good start if you are looking for more than one bottle. I wouldn't recommend that.

I would expect bottle limits almost every place that gets some and also cases going to selected accounts depending on Founders and overall beer sales from the distributors.
