Founders KBS Availability By You When It's Out

Don't know, don't care. Not particularly fond of KBS. I view it like I view Hopslam. The hype remains, but competition is much stiffer these days. The end doesn't justify the means when it comes to acquiring these beers.

 

It helps to know the manager here, and I do. I will probably be able to get 1-2 bottles for sure and 4 if I am lucky.

 

Doesn't really matter.. It's not worth it. I'll probably try and pick some up just so I can trade for a real barrel aged coffee stout in BCBCS. Don't know how KBS claims to have barrel aging. It's not in the taste...

 

Local package store will save me a 4 pk when it comes in

 

April here in Florida.. Limit could be 1 bottle or 1 4-pack, waiting to see how much we get.

 

Where in CT I have plenty of FIS!! I have to admit I take one for the team and stroke the Dist. So I can get my alottment. It also helps to buy a constant supply of founders year round to keep to #'s up!! That said I usually so a 1-2 bottle limit mostly for regulars not the truck chasers that sh@& chaps my ass

 

I will show up to the store, be told that there isn't any KBS available, shrug my shoulders, and then buy the Big Bad Baptist that's just sitting on the shelf.

Have you ever tasted KBS? The bourbon character is pretty strong.

 

I have... Just doesn't hold a candle to Bcbs, black note, or any of the other amazing barrel aged souts that are out like parabola and others. It's very thin and weak. But, like someone else in this thread said "It's like hopslam". The hype around it will always live along with the people who will always love it. Nothing wrong with that... Just think it's been left in the dust the past few years by other great barrel aged offerings... Just as hypeslam has been left behind by other amazing ipas/dipas

It's hard to get around here. That's why I've never even had a single bottle. I'm not going to run all over the place just for the chance to buy one bottle at a high price.

No distribution to California. But there website has job offerings in California so I'm thinking Founders might be available pretty soon in California, I've had some of their beers, really good.

i wonder how mr k's in placentia got regular breaksfast stout a couple months back. I was able to grab a 4PK.

 

Was a 2 bottle limit out by me last year in the western suburbs (Illinois).

 

Usually its a bottle here and there at best. Harder to come by than Bcbs.

 

Has anyone hard a set date for South Georgia and North Florida? My bottle shop has told us mid April but now they are back tracking. Are we going to get any at all?

 

I got a couple in Athens, GA on Friday. Maybe it's working its way down to you guys?
