I think they will get back to you. I filled out the web form after getting a couple of undercarbonated cans from a 1/13/15 four pk, and received an email from customer service a couple weeks later.
In my message to them, I mentioned I planned to visit the brewery sometime this year (I live 200 miles north of MPLS), and they told me to let them know when I would be visiting, and they would take care of me. I am satisfied with their response and will continue to enjoy their beers, I just hope have the problems ironed out. This has been a disappointing way to start off in their new facility, especially with one of their most anticipated products.

Wow, that's pretty shitty. It's not like you waited a year to contact them. It's a known problem, why would they even question it?

I'm really curious to see how long all of the current Abrasive sits on shelves seeing there are problems with most batches. It might be sitting in stores a year from now with all of the beer geeks not buying it because of problems and regulars not buying it because of such a high price tag. I would guess there's less demand in trading because of issues too.

I got 3 packs from the 1/13 batch and all are undercarbed. I got in touch with someone at Surly and they requested some pictures of info on the bottom of cans. I could have exchanged them at the brewery but I'm in a different state so they weren't allowed to send replacement cans. I was told I would receive something in the mail.

I had issues with my January canning. Emailed Surly, they sent me some very nice glasses and a hat along with an apology letter.

    Very nice customer service.

I live in NC, but have been drinking abrasive since the beginning due to my brother living 15 minutes away from the brewery. Am drinking batch 1/13/15 01.

Low carb. Flavor was still on point, but it was definitely low carb.

Cans supposedly headed our way soon. We'll see if they are undercarbed or not, in the meantime really enjoying it on draft.

Some are and some are not :-) You can tell just by squeezing the cans. (1/23 batch). I will roll the dice with the 2/6 batch (unless there is a super secret later IA batch :-D ) if they come to Council Bluffs. Even the low carb ones were good they just hit the palate in a sweeter fashion (less scrubbing bubbles)

I had some on tap at Whistle Binkie's in Rochester Sunday. Good as ever on tap.

Just picked up a 4 pack of the first Abrasive to hit Des Moines. Like, an hour ago. Just checked the date, and sure enough it is 02/06/15. If they thought it was a widespread problem, would they introduce it in Des Moines anyway? First impressions.

I'm genuinely surprised that this is still going on. I've consumed well over two cases since its late release this year, and have encountered zero issues. Notta one.

I just had another can last night that was just as flat as the first I had about a week ago (if I remember correctly). Absolutely no head or lacing.

Looks like the law of averages finally caught up with you.
You had a good ride anyway...

I gave up on what used to be my favorite IIPA - a long time ago.

This board will be jam packed of people saying it's off, even it isn't.

If you buy a 4 pack, and one is flat. Take the rest to Surly and give them to Gary. They'd love to get their hands on an actual defective can. Not that they don't believe anyone, more that they'd like to have one to inspect.
