I doubt they'll be so cheap. Have they lowered prices or something?

Is Torst worth a visit? I'll be visiting NYC in 2 weeks. I'd like to check out Gabe's Flux capacitor he installed at Torst. I figure I'd hit up Torst and then make my way over to OH Brewing.

It's expensive, but definitely worth checking out if you haven't been. It's right by a G train stop, as is Other Half. Should be around 30 mins door to door (in theory). If you go to Other Half, you should check out Threes Brewing afterwards (probably 20-25 min walk, or you can take G to the R. Or just take an uber....)

Yeah Torst is very pricey, but they always have stuff on tap you won't find anywhere else in the city.

And as @rollom said, you can hop right on the G train - Torst and Other Half are 12 stops away from each other.

I did the walk from Three's to OH and it took me roughly 20 mins. Barring another snow storm (looks like spring will finally be here this weekend), you should definitely check out Three's. Three's is a very short walk from Atlantic Terminal. Right nearby is 4th Avenue Pub and they usually have a nice tap list

Never heard of Three's Brewing. But looking at their tap list I will definitely visit them. I see they do growler fills. Do they fill growlers from another brewery (other brewery's label on growler)?

Torst is definitely worth a visit. Also it seems like you have your fair share of places to hit, but Brooklyn Brewery is less than 10 minutes away from Torst on foot (and if you take the L train from manhattan you'll actually pass it walking to torst). I'd definitely prioritize OH/Three's/Torst, but Brooklyn is also right there and a cool place to check out if you have time.

Man, you guys are making it tough for me. I've had Brooklyn IPA & Blast (bottles) while visiting Vegas. Blast was way better but I think it may of been old. But you have a good point. I do like to visit bigger brewery's wherever I go.
The problem is on this visit I will have the wife, her sister and her husband (my bro-inlaw/drinking bud/homebrew partner) with me. Her sis & husband has never been to NYC. This is my 7th or 8th visit. My last visit back last year was by myself. So I had 1 night (4 hours) to check out Fool's Gold/Cooper Craft & Jimmy's. So this visit the sis-in law wants to see the 911 memorial. I've been but not to the new museum. So that is #1 on our list of to do's. I'm hoping to do 2 nights of pub crawling. One night in the mid Manhattan (Fool's Gold) area and the other OH/Three's/Torst/(Brooklyn?). I def want to visit Torst as their flux capacitor http://drinks.seriouseats.com/2013/07/flux-capacitor-better-beer-on-tap-adjust-pressure-.html is from my local Beachwood BBQ (Seal Beach). Only 4 (that I know of) exist so far.
I just hope the weather improves.
