It's a bit extreme but I wouldn't say it makes them a loser for waiting so long in line. As much as lines can suck they can be fun as well if you meet some good people and whatnot and I'm sure they'll have a blast when they get inside during the first wave.

anyone know the math on how many glasses 7 barrels will serve? I'm trying to estimate when these kegs will kick to determine if its even worth going over. Was planning to go over in the early afternoon to avoid some of the early morning super long lines. But with the way it looks....who knows.

 

5 barrels lasted til about 6 last year. It was about the same the year before.

 

500? So roughly half of the line will get in with the first wave, the other half will wait until....

News flash: Kate the Great is really, really good....no wait, I'll go with Great. My group had 3 glasses, bought a snifter, and then left to let people in from the cold.

Walked past the line on the way out, was still around the block almost to the garage at 1:15 or so.

 

Thought I'd share this here for anyone that didn't get inside for the tapping.

 

Just left...line still reaching garage. Decent this year

 

Fyi - if you want the snifter buy it at the bar for 2 bucks - not on sale in the store!
