I wasn't there at open but I doubt there was much of a line... They expect it to last through the weekend and if there's extra, to possibly get released to distro next week.

 

Any news on the next canning of Green Diamonds?

 

I've had Green Diamonds on tap and should be getting a 4 pack of GD next week on a trade. But when i visit NYC in 2 weeks I want to check out more of OH stuff. Any recommendation on what they have available now or then? It doesn't look like GD will be available at the end of the month. I plan to visit the brewery when I'm in town. First priority.

 

Best bet is at the brewery like you said. Search on beermenus to see what you can find on tap around the city. Also keep an eye on http://brewyorknewyork.com/ their events calendar on the left is super helpful!

 

Actually there's a decent chance GD or something else (all green everything maybe) gets canned in the next few weeks. When GD sold out they said more would be coming "in a few weeks" (and that was feb 20th i believe) so there's definitely a chance something else will get canned in the next couple of weeks. Thing is it sold out in a day and a half so you'd have to get lucky with the weekend it gets canned haha. But the tap list is constantly changing there, so difficult to say what they have on at any time. Definitely worth a visit.

 

Most places wont put a brett (or other sour) beer on draft unless its dedicated to that.

 

There wasn't really a line yesterday, but the front room was crowded as always. They were pouring free samples straight from the bottle which I thought was a great move. I had a couple pours of Grand Scheme and Not My Jam, then picked up my bottles and left. This should certainly last the weekend.

their designer is killing it. can't wait for All Green Everything, but I'd buy Hop Showers just for how it looks.

 

That can definitely lives up to the beers name! Hopefully they leave some for draft and growler fills.

 

I just talk to Anthony and it's going to be a little while. Still finalizing the can design, etc. No specifics.

Opened up a Brett Saison tonight and it's great. by far the best bottled offering I've had from OH so far.

anyone know if they have the logo snifters still for sale?

 

They had the Green Diamond snifters last Friday, but they were waiting on the regular OH snifters. But they might have them this week-end.
