I will occasionally comment on something obvious about the beer, but my comments definitely lean more towards words like "yummy" or "delicious" unless I can come up with a moronic pun.

 

Haha. You are correct. And you will not here any complaining here. It will probably a VERY mini trading hiatus. Just a frustrating day today. I need a beer... and soon...

 

Then I'd be telling a fib. I looked for them but couldn't find um.

 

I retract this statement. The citrus is definetly there, tough to pick out the sweetness of a mango or pineapple.

Probably my least favorite hoppy beer from Tree House...so better than 90% of the beers out there

 

We seem to have issues with gauging appropriate responses in this thread. @JasonR1975 asked for some Regular Coffee, and I was able to help out. I threw a couple extra beers in to fill up the box, and told him to send me an appropriate return box.

I came home to a damp box in the crater that had been my walkway.

Fortunately, the box had only been wet by the melted snow dripping down on to it.

Inside was this atrocity:

VGS from Tired Hands:


Blood Root: A hoppy Saison made with Red Wheat and Rye; hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, and Columbus hops.

So much going on here, a nice smooth body from the wheat, a bite from the rye, great fruity flavors from the hops, and a bit of funkiness from the saison yeast strain... but it all just works. Yum.

 

Also... those of you that guessed lower numbers for my currently ongoing LIF are looking like favorites to win... I've only had the game now for 4 days and have passed 2 15s... but I've also attempted another few "easy" ones and have gotten completely wrecked by them... learning to get better at this game is tougher than I had expected.

 

Alright, so I received two awesome boxes today. A couple of overlaps but I couldn't be any more excited about these overlaps.

First from @kgncfl which was from a trade. Seems like he took my comment about not loving the limited amount of beers I've had from Jackie O's personally. Really looking forward to these, and it seems like almost everything here has seen a barrel. Hop Juju is a big want.



Next up, my not CJ BIF from @Ncpogs so many wants in this box and actually the imperial cream ale that I've never heard of, aged in rye barrels sounds incredible. I'm a sucker for cream ales.



Yes, a Pliny, haven't had one in awhile, so excited to re visit it. Oh wait, there's more.


Pretty sure that's six wants, not including two permawants and a few I'm excited to try even if I didn't know about them before.
