I am travelling to St. Louis in the late March timeframe. It will be Sunday to Tuesday. I know Perennial is not open those days. Will be staying in the Clayton area. I would appreciate suggestions on beer bars where I can sample STL, KC and other Midwestern brews from my bros.

Urban Chestnut Brewing is a must IMO.

Definitely check out stlhops.com for info on any events going on. Side Project Cellar, Heavy Riff and Schlafly Bottleworks are all pretty close to each other and not far from Clayton. I suggest you hit up those three! I'm close by, maybe I'll even join you

Three Kings in the Delmar Loop has a nice tap and cellar list.
Craft Beer Cellar in Clayton has 4 taps so you can drink while you peruse the aisles of only craft beer.
If venturing out of Clayton area, I'd skip Urban and go to 4 Hands instead. iTap in Soulard is not too far from there and has good selection on draft. Schlafly and Side Project as already mentioned.

If you will be in St. Louis on the 28th, you may want to check out 4 Hands Lupulin Carnival. There will be a bunch of breweries there. It is the release party of their IIPA Warhammer.

Checkout the Range downtown STL. All Local taps. Along with good food. Also any ITAP in is good. Message me if you want some other good places. Cheers!

I highly recommend Bridge, which is owned by the same people who own Bailey's Range, Rooster, Bailey's Chocolate, and The Fifth Wheel (at 4 Hands). Bridge has 55 taps which feature mostly local breweries and tons of bottles. I'd change my recommendation to Bridge over 4 Hands because the sheer variety and better food choices.

I really appreciate all of the excellent advice. I will let you know how it goes. If anyone wants to enjoy a pint at one of the suggested locales on Sunday evening (3/22), let me know.

Any recommendations of a good bottle shop to pick up some stuff from 4 hands and perennial? If I can't make it to the breweries themselves. Thanks.

how much Odell IPA does st Louis get? trying to have a buddy from St. Louis bring some to me in Central IL, and wondering if he can walk into a bottle shop and pick it off the shelf.
