Hey all! I'm looking for some general info on these beers. Are they released every year, sporadically, etc and in what type of volume? Thanks for any info you might have.

This was the first year that Sang Noir was released in bottles. Previously it was tap only at the Holiday Ale Festival (or at the Barrel House/Raccoon Lodge.) No idea on the bottle count, but it was a pretty large release.

As for the Vine, it's nearly an annual release and it's also ubiquitous.

It can survive on both land and water? Woah.

They are pricey though... ranging from $20-$25 a pop from what I've seen.

No, it floats. It floats! Throw it into the pond!

(I believe you're thinking of the term amphibious, but I'd like to think you're being intentionally thick in order to be funny. Right?)

In regards to you're use of the term ubiquitious - I think it was nice. Irregardless, I could care less to.

I hate when people use that word. Mispronounciation should be illegal.

I had some Sang Noir last week and it blew me away! Certainly worth pursuing OP!

both on shelves in boston. i had the vine a year or so ago, and liked it a lot. just had sang noire a couple nights ago and seriously considered blowing another $20 on a bottle even though i have more beer lined up to drink than i have time or sobriety for.

p.s. adding what others seem to have implied, i think sang noir is a bit harder to get than the vine.

e.g. i saw like 4~5 vines next to a lone noir at the store i went to on july 4th.

also, great fruit flavor in noir. it's killer sour too, which is not actually a great thing in my book (i like how cascade is often a bit tamer than RR), but could be a selling point for other people.

Yeah. That's what makes it a joke.
