I've had an awesome beer week that just got better with today's porch destruction courtesy of @JasonR1975

I'll start with the hoppy



Troegs - Nugget Nectar : Want, first beer from Troegs and one I've seen a lot on BA lately
Half Acre - Daisy Cutter : Want also, funny because just last weekend at a baby shower a friend's friend was telling me hoe awesome this beer is
Black Rocks - 51k : I don't know much about this one but always excited to try a new highly rated IPA!
Bell's - Hopslam : Bell's has come to my part of town but it was too late for Hopslam, excited to finally be able to try this one
Short's Brewing - Goodnight Bodacious : Have had the opportunity to try a couple Short's beers in the past, looking forward to trying more
Oddside Ales - Jesse's Party IPA :If Oddside's IPAs are anything like their stouts, I'm excited!

Then the non-hoppy



Dark Horse - BBA Plead the 5th : Permwant, such a good beer. Now I have both the BBA and non-BBA and can do a side by side
Oddside Ales - Morning Wood Stout : Got to try this recently and was a fan, glad to get a chance to revisit and maybe share with the friends this time
Oddside Ales - BBA Imperial Mayan Mocha : A major want, have heard such great things about this beer.
Oddside Ales - Hipster Brunch Stout : Awwww shit :O This is one of my wants that I put into the "I'll probably never try it but I hope some awesome BA sticks it in a box one day" pile. Glad that awesome BA came soon rather than later
Dragon's Milk - Reserve with Raspberries : I was tricked because this one was inserted into a Parabola box, lol. Didn't know such a thing existed but I'm glad to get the opportunity to try it

Intangible Ales Acidulated Hive - Went to the bottle release this morning with the little guy in tow, @PA-Michigander was a few spots in front of me in line and let me tell you, Nick is a hell of a guy. He got his bottles and then looped back around to help me carry mine to my car since I was carrying my son. Then I went inside to grab some food to go and got to have a taste of said beer from the bottle on their table. Thanks again Nick!

 

No problem. You're a criminal and should be in jail for what you did to my porch in one of these early rounds. You had mentioned wanting those Oddside stouts a while back and weather just hasn't been my friend to attempt to pay you back until now.

This is a flesh wound compared to the gaping smoldering hole he left of my front yard in an early round. This dude kills me with a twelve shipper - says oops, forgot swag - and sends another twelve shipper with FW BA stuff, RR sours, Beachwood IPAs, etc...

 

HA! That's pretty awesome, but still it was a BIF box, not his end of a trade that you were completing. I still say you owe his porch an apology.

Not to toot my own horn but I think you were the third to call it! Just happy he is in GB for four more years. Moment of truth: I watched him play a little in college, as a QB, and was pretty disappointed when they drafted him. Man I was dead wrong on that.

Little bottle share with a couple of friends. The Upland Blueberry was a clear winner.

Question about Bois though: to me. It tasted very boozy (of course at 18%) but almost like Black Tuesday. Am I wrong on that ? Is my palate destroyed from all the sours? Thoughts?
