I hit Plan Bee with the family and our enforcer, @Mikexw decided to be the protection for my family at the very tough farmers market where Plan Bee is sold.

I picked up a couple of bottles, including one for my target, but the selection wasn't great, so Mike goes to his trunk and pulls out another type they didn't have and a Decicco imperial biscotti break.

Luckily I've been in this group long enough to know the generosity here so I had a few bottles in my trunk for him. All in all a good trip, and always great to see Mike again. He is always too generous.

 

This is a great question. What I mean by booziness is what you refer as "hot alcohol when the booze gets offensive. Today, I had a Wulver and the alcohol, to me, enhanced the beer. I was also lucky to have tried a Utopia and I was blown away by how everything blended perfectly together. My hard time with the Bois last night was I got the alcohol right up front but it did not transition to anything else. I tried it again today and it was a much better experience. I really think that the sours I had last night cried my palate and did not let me appreciate the Bois.
So, my problem really was the transition (as it is with Bourbon ). I have learned from last night that too many sours will get in the way of enjoying a strong beer. You learn something everyday, right?

 

Hint 10: Yes I'm shipping to PA.
Hint 11: To a business address my box will go.
Hint 12: Happy is what my target will be when my box arrives.



If that's not right then it's one hell of a coincidence.

Yeah, and don't mention that you handed me back two bombers that average 94.5% on BA (18th Street Brewery Devil's Conclave and Clown Shoes Garden State Rhapsody). And trust me, you didn't need protection -- your daughter saying "doggy" would have melted the heart of any bad guys..

 

Hint 4: Just so you know, I have shipped beer to this state before...

this is a group shot of 7 boxes received yesterday. All of them were delayed due to snow, and not a single casualty! These are from the NBA BIF and Super Bowl Squares BIF. Many senders are in this thread, thanks guys.
