They'll have their parking lot closed down for beer. Parking on the street or the surround streets was fine last year. Might have to walk a block or so but it wasn't bad.

Far be it from me to ever be negative about something *cough, yeah right* but that parking lot sucks.

I was wondering if anyone had more details on the Gratitude release this weekend?

They haven't released the details yet. It'll probably be tomorrow or Tuesday. Just keep checking the Events section of their website.

Walking a few blocks in that neighborhood is not ideal...

At 10 or 11 in the morning, you'll be ok. I don't recall anyone having any problems last time.

Yeah, Hamilton is a busy enough main drag that you aren't getting the full Larimer experience.

Braddock scares me a lot more than East Liberty, honestly.

I have been through all of the "rough areas" so many times that I don't even think about it anymore.

Well I am planning on going to Voodoo first and then East End later in the day. Not sure when I'll be there but I am sure I am not the only one with the same thoughts. And I know the area well. I frequently hit up the gas station on the corner of Frankstown and Washington as its the closest one to my house. Hamilton is okay but a block or 2 either way during night time isn't the best idea for those who don't know.

Yep, cheap property is the name of the game. Brew Gentleman and Voodoo both got their pieces of property for next to nothing.

Wilkinsburg is okay. The nice part of Point Breeze is south of Penn. The north side isn't that nice. The north side of Point Breeze is only a couple blocks from Homewood, Larmier, Lincoln-Lemington, etc. That part is as rough as it gets.

East Liberty is getting a lot better. There are some fairly nice areas.

Yea right off of penn is not bad but once u got close to homewood that might be the roughest area in Pittsburgh up there with the hill

I believe they did; or very close to it. Kevin Sousa also got a similar deal for Superior Motors if I am not mistaken.
