What are the release events like? If the event starts at 11, does someone need to be there at 8 to guarantee an allocation, or is it pretty relaxed?

All depends on weather and what's being released. This next release will be a tougher one requiring early lineup to guarantee

I went to the last one, got there 20 minutes before the doors opened and had probably 25-30 people ahead of me in line. Super relaxed, everyone was patient and respectful, and no more than ten others showed up behind me. After you score some bottles you can hang for a beer at the bar or be on your way; I'd recommend the former. You can even grab a beer first and sip while in line. Troy mingles around afterwards and is super to talk to. It's a really cool, chill time but it's murder getting out there during ski season from the front range. And I left my place at 6am.

You should know that the magnums of Plum Fruit Stand were long gone by the time I got to the front of the line. Still walked out with a half case of Saison and East Bank. I was able to easily get a couple of glasses at the bar though.

I saw quite a few bottles of the Saison at Mr. B's on Tuesday evening. They may be gone now, but it seemed liked they had a decent stock. Love Fruition, BTW.

I picked one up from Mr B's last night and have no fear- they still looked to have at least a couple cases left. Bottled Jan 7th, 2015.

Hello all, I'm going to be in Fort Collins starting on the 16th and staying until the 21st. I really want to try and score a bottle of Casey for my beer buddies back here in old IA. Do you think there is a chance that they will distribute some of the beers they release on the 14th? I know it might be impossible, but I thought I would throw out a line. Thanks a ton!

To the best of my knowledge, no Casey bottles have ever made it to FoCo. Additionally, that quick of a turn around from a 14 March release date is really asking a lot since Troy either hand-delivers bottles or store employees drive to Glenwood pick them up, no distributor is involved. So to answer your question more directly, I think the chances are slim to none.

Ah, thanks a lot. I was/am going to make a trip down to Denver either way, but good to know.

I won't make any promises, but you may be able to find the Casey Saison floating around Denver when you're here. Try Mr. B's or one of the other good bottle shops around town. The other varieties, e.g., Fruit Stand, are harder to come by.

I don't have a variety or quantity, but I've got one remaining bottle of Casey Saison. If you're coming down to Denver, let's plan to meet up and I can pass it along to you.

Hey man, thanks a bunch for the offer, but I got a saison and an east back heading my way via a meet up in FoCo. I am still on the lookout for any fruits, but I know this might a lost cause. I was/am hoping that TG releases a big beer this week so that I could bring it down, but it may not happen in time.

Sorry bud, but I've just got the one saison. I'm glad you managed to lock down a couple bottles though!

What was the character of Oak Theory? Anything you can compare it to?

Ha, I really don't know, but based on Colorambic that would be my guess.
